Hi everybody! Dad's out for a swim, and Mom's checking emails. They asked me to update y'all on things. That's right ... I'm now a dogblogger!
First of all, some of you have commented -- and not all that nicely -- on whether I ride on the roof or not. I want to state that except for the Homecoming Float or Ticker Tape Parades, I most certainly do not! Think about it: who poops, and who picks up the poop? Being treated like a dog is a pretty sweet gig around here; my Peeps may be bipeds but they're still pretty useful.
Today, they chauffeured me from Asheville (pretty mountains, but yucky cats and goats!) to Nashville. 'Twas a very pretty drive, much of it winding through Appalachian Mountain passes. Not too long, either; only about 300 miles on the highway. And for those of you who just can't seem to get enough pictures of power plants, here's one taken as we crossed the Clinch River in Tennessee:
Tonight, we're staying at the Drury Inn & Suites in Nashville. It's pet-friendly and pretty comfy. Here's a picture of me being escorted to our room:
